Assessment 9 Screengrabs
This is a screen shot taken from the 2010 remake of the horror classic a nightmare on elm street. As shown here one of the main scenes is an abandoned warehouse as similar with ours we have used. We used this film as inspiration for locations.
As shown from here is a screen shot from the original horror classic The exorcist. What is shown here is the lighting that is used with the little girl possessed by the devil and this is something we had tried to incorporate within out footage when the cult leader is within our female characters bedroom.
The Wicker man remake screen shot is shown above and this is were our inspiration for our cult came from. As shown from this shot you can see the cult carrying the victim ready for the sacrifice as within our video.
Assessment 9 Software
Within our product we have used the editing Program Final Cut HD. This allowed us to improve upon editing skills and create a much more advanced product.
Assessment 8
Within our opening sequence we will only be having 3 different scenes.
The first scene that will be shown will be of our female character within her bedroom firstly sat upon the bed making a phone call discussing the dreams and headaches she keeps having.
From here the audience is taking to another scene that is a quiet street. It Is this scene where our female character is kidnapped and placed into the boot of the car which drives off to our final scene.
The final scene is within an abandoned factory outside of the rural area. This factory is the scene showing the cults place of worship. The female character will be taken inside the factor from outside and brought in by members of the cult until the cult leaders points them into where he wants her.
The audience is then taken back to the female characters bedroom where she awakes from her dream.
