Assessment 5

Plot Synopsis
The Femme fatal, played by Catherine Bacon, is having a nightmare linked with a cult in an abandoned warehouse with the devils summoning as the key focus. The Femme Fatal is the sacrifice as provided by the minions of what appear to be a cult leader. This cult is vastly growing as many people are going missing the ring leader appears with enigmas appearing throughout the entire plot using the leader in a cloak as a mystery with the warehouse and the ritual.

Opening Sequences
Our opening sequence will start with our female character dreaming about the current plot line in which this devil style cult is after her after her several hallucinations about them and their place or worship. This starts with the female character in her bedroom calling a friend telling her about these dreams and hallucinations. From here flashbacks are shown of the headache flashbacks the female character is receiving followed by a flashback of the dream she just had in which she is kidnapped forcing her eventually to wake up in a panic.

Audience
For our audience we are trying to aim for a an age group of 15-25 and this is due to the plot we are creating. We are using as an original plot line classic horror stereo types from the 1960's era for the film to create a much greater sense of fear. however we are also incorporating flashbacks and dreams that are seen from the 80's onwards within horror to also immerse the audience into a false sense of fear when they next dream. With the primary audience being 15-25 for horror we have decided to not challenge this to ensure popularity and keep with many appealing teen trends such as the many posters that are present within our female characters room in which many teen girls would relate to.

Creative Techniques
From our previous AS media work we had clearly been shown that we did not incorporate a wide variety of shot or much movement from the camera so we have planned this time to ensure that these are met. With our camera work we have developed and know now from any shot that we are filming we should also have multiple shot angles to ensure the audience can see a wide variety of camera movements. With this we are also ensuring that there will be a wider variety of shots from many different angles so that the audience is not bored of the same single shot being shown for too long. Previously we used iMovie to create a project but to ensure that we have a much more variety of shots we will be using Final Cut HD to allow for much more advanced editing for a much more advanced project.
